Wayne Smith replaces current managing director Jeremy Fish, who leaves Nationwide Platforms at the end of February to become chief executive of .
Mr Smith joined the company in May 2016 from Aggreko as corporate strategy director. Before Aggreko, he worked for materials group Lafarge.
