Holders of a F脕S construction skills certification scheme (CSCS) experienced plant operator card can now apply for a UK construction plant competence scheme (CPCS) competent operator (blue) card, and vice versa.
To meet each country鈥檚 legislative requirements, regional legislation or industry initiatives, transfers to each respective scheme need to be supported by interim additional requirements. In principle, this means that CPCS blue cardholders need to hold the relevant NVQ or SVQ and undertake the F脕S Safe Pass programme, while F脕S CSCS cardholders must sit the CITB health, safety and environment test, plus a skills and experience interview and CPCS theory test for each category of plant.听
