The revamped building will house a theatre and music facilities, a multimedia suite for the student newspaper and radio station, and a headquarters for student societies. The building will remain in use while work is going on.
The construction works will include the installation of a new ground to ceiling glazed entrance and partial glazed east and west fa莽ade. A caf茅 and shop units will also be added.
This is Morrison鈥檚 eighth contract in 10 years at the university, totalling almost 拢60m.

Work is now underway with completion scheduled for October 2015.
