Morgan Sindall will take care of more than 10,000 council houses as well as corporate buildings over the next 15 years. The contract starts on 1st July 2016.
The contract integrates all the council鈥檚 major repair and maintenance services and is thus expected to deliver savings of as much as 拢2m a year to the council.
Under the contract, Morgan Sindall will also offer tenants help with their DIY for what is described as 鈥渁 small fee鈥�.
