The appointment has a three-year term, with a possible additional year鈥檚 extension. Work will involve new build and refurbishment schemes in education and general community buildings.
The framework has an anticipated total spend of up to 拢100m, with the projects grouped by value. Morgan Sindall will compete against two other contractors in Lots 1 and 2, which cover schemes valued at 拢2.5m and more, and those in the 拢350,000 to 拢2.5m range.
Lots 1 and 2 cover the majority of the building works available under the framework. A third lot covers projects costing less than 拢350,000.
Milton Keynes Council first selected Morgan Sindall as a preferred contractor in 2007 for a four-year term. The renewal of the agreement follows Morgan Sindall鈥檚 recent appointment to the Smarte East Alliance Framework in the east of England, where it will be competing in two of the three lots that cover a 拢500m programme of public building works over the next four years.
