The projects being developed in Woodside, Forres and Tain have been brought together under a single project agreement for both health boards. They represent the first collaboratively-procured design, build, fund and maintain project to be delivered through Hub North Scotland for the NHS.
Construction value is 拢13.2m.
Collectively, it is the fifth project to reach financial close from the Hub North pipeline.
Hub North Scotland comprises Alba Community Partnerships, Scottish Futures Trust and the 18 northern territory partners. Alba is a joint venture between Miller Corporate Holdings and Sweett.
Forres Health and Care Centre and Woodside Fountain Health Centre, Aberdeen will be delivered for NHS Grampian and Tain Health Centre for NHS Highland.
As a Tier 1 contractor with Hub North Scotland Ltd, Miller Construction has been appointed as main contractor to deliver all three projects.
Construction is expected to complete by April 2014.
Miller Construction regional managing director Charlie Dunn said: 鈥淲e have already built a successful partnership with NHS Grampian whilst delivering the Aberdeen Community Health and Care Village and are looking forward to working with them and NHS Highland on these three projects.鈥
Hub North Scotland chief executive Angus Macfarlane added: 鈥淏ringing together the requirements of each project and delivering them for two health boards under one contract, demonstrates the capabilities of the hub process.鈥
