The move follows a recruitment drive in the south-east region, where the company鈥檚 turnover is growing and is projected to hit 拢50m.
The southern division, which covers Southampton, Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, East & West Sussex and Kent, has already identified 65% of next year's planned turnover with confirmed contracts.
The business has moved its south east headquarters to the Botleigh Grange Office Campus in Hedge End near Southampton and has boosted its senior management team with several new appointments.
Martin Robinson joins the company as operations manager having been at Prime Construction and Morgan Sindall. Philip McCabe, previously development director for Britannia Construction, is the new pre-construction director, while Martin Sadler and Rob Fish have joined the commercial management.
In addition, Steve Taylor has been brought in to support the division's planning department having previously worked as a senior planner at Balfour Beatty for six years, and Jon Gates has been appointed to the role of operations director with responsibility for supporting the growing number of project teams delivering work across the region.
Paul Strachan, divisional director for the Midas Southern region, said: "We are seeing substantial growth in the south east market and a move away from traditional tendering activities with clients increasingly recognising the benefits of collaborative working, focusing on two stage and negotiated procurement processes as a result.鈥
