Director Jos茅 Luis Luege Tamargo said that the federal government has given great impetus to the construction of treatment plants, wastewater collectors and the promotion of proper management of solid waste.
Aims of the plan to 2020 include cleaning rivers, providing safe drinking water and preventing flooding. There are projects for treatment plants, dams, river basin works, wastewater collectors and potable water pipelines.
