Janice Roden, who joined the company in 2006 as manager of its maintenance services division, has become majority shareholder and managing director.
She has bought out her former boss, Oss Boardman, who is staying with the business.
Longworth is an M&E building services specialist, founded in 1867. Its three trading divisions are Longworth Contracting, Longworth Maintenance Services and Longworth Energy. It has 25 employees and a turnover of 拢2.8m.
The buyout was backed by NatWest bank.
