Carillon Energy Services, Dyson Energy Services and Forrest will be responsible for delivering a range of measures including loft, cavity wall and external wall insulation, as well as new boiler installations.
Forrest will be responsible for properties in Bolton, Salford and Stockport. Carillion and Dyson will share the other boroughs between them.
The contract is part of AGMA’s ‘Get Me Toasty’ campaign, which aims to provide energy-saving home improvement measures to people living in low income households. The energy improvement works will be funded via the government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme. This programme is a requirement placed on utility companies to provide £1.3bn-worth of energy saving installations a year to reduce fuel poverty.
