鈥淥ver the last few years the changing market conditions within the compaction industry, and differing strategies of the two companies have necessitated the amicable separation,鈥� Leach Lewis said in a statement.
Leach Lewis has been selling Bomag product for 32 years and claims to be the largest light compaction distributor in the south of England. 鈥淭he decision was not an easy one to make,鈥� the company said.
It is now looking to take on a new franchise for compaction equipment from another manufacturer and hopes to make an announcement in the coming weeks.
Leach Lewis said that it would continue to support the thousands of Bomag customers who have bought vibrating plates, reversible plates, rammers, trench compactors, single drum rollers and tandem rollers over the last three decades.
Bomag is part of France's Fayat Group. Leach Lewis is its dealer for the southeast region of England.
