Dr Millard will sit on the group technical committee with a brief 鈥渢o ensure alignment between the overall group strategy and the engineering excellence group鈥檚 activities,鈥� Laing O鈥橰ourke said.
Before joining Balfour Beatty in 2011, he worked at Heathrow Airport for seven years and was head of engineering for the Terminal 5 project, which Laing O鈥橰ourke built. Prior to that, he had 20 years in the automotive industry with leading car marques.
