Anna Stewart will combine her duties as group chief executive with managing director of the Europe Hub.
A statement from Laing O鈥橰ourke said that Mr Robinson, aged 61, would 鈥渞emain with the company as a senior executive with responsibility for a wide range of important relationships and aspects of the business including Laing O鈥橰ourke鈥檚 joint venture with Bouygues at Hinkley Point C鈥�.
Roger Robinson joined the group in 2009 from Carillion. He became CEO of the Europe Hub in 2010 and is a member of the group executive committee. He is a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and has worked for major contractors his entire career.
