The investment 鈥� which is the largest made by the group in France in 40 years - will set up a new kiln for clinker. This will increase the plant鈥檚 productivity and reduce its environmental impact.
The modernization will enable the recycling and recovery of waste, helping the Martres-Tolosane plant to reduce its energy consumption and CO2 footprint through the use of alternative fuels.
Works will begin in 2018 and be completed in mid-2020. The aim is that by that point the plant will be running on 80% alternative fuels, in line with the group鈥檚 2030 plan sustainability strategy.
