Kier will build the new hospital on the site of Manchester Metropolitan University鈥檚 former campus on Hathersage Road.
The hospital will provide more than 90,000 square feet of healthcare facilities over three floors when complete. It will have five operating theatres, an imaging and diagnostic suite, 50 patient rooms and 30 consultation rooms.
Construction is due to begin later this year with a completion date of spring 2019.
