Managing director of Keltbray Sheet Piling is Andy Appleton, previously managing director of SPI Appleton Ltd. Before that, he ran his own sheet piling business, Appleton Piling Ltd, which merged with SPI in 2012.
In recent years Keltbray has diversified from demolition to remediation, rail works, geotechnics and environmental services. Keltbray Piling was set up in 2008.
Keltbray Sheet Piling will cover all aspects of driven steel piling, including; temporary and permanent works design, supply, installation and extraction of steel sheet piles, welded steel framing, anchors and other associated works, using Keltbray鈥檚 own range of piling equipment. This includes silent and vibrationless hydraulic pile pressing equipment, telescopic leader rigs with vibratory hammers and conventional hydraulic vibratory and impact hammers.
Andy Appleton said of his move to Keltbray: 鈥淭his is a great opportunity to offer sheet piling as an integral part of the group鈥檚 portfolio, as well as a stand-alone service for external clients. Combined, this gives us great potential for growing this business into a nationwide venture.鈥
Keltbray Group managing director John Price added: 鈥淎ndy comes to us with extensive business experience and technical knowledge of the market and sheet piling techniques. We鈥檙e delighted to have him on board, and believe he has the capability to take our service offering to the next level and develop our increasingly comprehensive range of solutions nationwide, to meet the steel piling needs across the construction industry.鈥
