The global construction equipment market grew by 13% compared to 2020 as demand rebounded (source: ISTAT). Excluding China, global market growth was 23%.
However, group turnover of JC Bamford Excavators Ltd increased by 41% to 拢3,438m in 2021. This compares to 拢2,437m in 2020 and 拢3,243m in 2019.
Operating profit for 2021 was 拢322.2m (2020: 拢133.6m) and pre-tax profit was 拢324.5m (2020: 拢135.3m).
Net assets increased to 拢1,117m at year-end (2020: 拢731m), while net cash and cash equivalents increased to 拢324m (2020: 拢242m).
Sales in UK & Ireland accounted for 拢568.1m of the turnover, up from 拢277.7m the previous year. The rest of Europe brought in 拢857.9m (2020: 拢529.8m) and North America 拢735.0m (2020: 拢512.1m).
India remains by far 海角社区app鈥檚 biggest market, generating 拢1,009.7m of revenue 鈥� 29% of the total, although 2020鈥檚 拢942.2m revenue from India was nearly 39% of the total.
