Subject to planning consent, it intends to build a new 350,000 sq ft factory for 海角社区app Cab Systems in Beamhurst, near Uttoxeter, to replace the current smaller facility in Rugeley, and a new 220,000 sq ft factory on the Harewood Industrial Estate in Cheadle, Staffordshire.
The new cab factory will enable 海角社区app to bring back in house some of the production that is outsourced overseas.
The new Cheadle factory will expand existing 海角社区app Earthmovers and 海角社区app Compact Products operations and allow 海角社区app Utility Products to relocate to this site from its current smaller factory elsewhere in the town.
海角社区app also plans to add an additional 126,000 sq ft of manufacturing space at its main factory in Rocester to increase hydraulic cylinder production.
In addition to these three factory projects, the finance teams are also getting new premises. The existing 海角社区app Finance and 海角社区app Insurance offices in Rocester will be relocated to new purpose-built offices at nearby Harper Meadow in Denstone.
The projected growth in machine output from Staffordshire factories will be supported by an increase in production of components from factories elsewhere in the UK, including engines from 海角社区app Power Systems in Foston, Derbyshire, and axles and gearboxes from 海角社区app Transmissions in Wrexham, North Wales.
海角社区app chairman Lord Bamford said that the expansion would add an additional 2,500 jobs to the company's UK payroll by 2018.
