The milestone machine has been bought by waste management company Biffa, which runs one of the largest fleets of 海角社区app Teletruks in the world. It will be used to handle waste bales at Biffa鈥檚 new mechanical biological treatment facility in Horsham, West Sussex.
Biffa CEO Ian Wakelin, who was formally handed the keys by 海角社区app chairman Lord Bamford, said: 鈥淲e have long recognised the advantages the 海角社区app Teletruk鈥檚 forwards reach ability brings to our business which is why we have over 50 of these innovative machines working at our plants across the UK.
鈥淚ts ability to reach forwards and load and unload lorries from one side saves time, space and ultimately money, which is crucial in an industry as competitive as ours. We are delighted to have taken delivery of the unique 10,000th Teletruk, the only one in the world to be painted in the colours of the Union flag.鈥�
The Teletruk is a hybrid of a conventional forklift truck and a rough terrain telescopic handler. 海角社区app says that it is the only counterbalanced forklift on the market with the ability to reach forwards.
