ISG has a 拢22m contract, starting in April, to build 190 apartments over the next two years.聽
Orbit鈥檚 St Anne鈥檚 Quarter will eventually have 437 apartments and houses available through a mix of both affordable and private rent, shared ownership and outright sale.
Development director Maggie McCann said: 鈥淭he contract marks an important milestone in our 拢80m transformation of this city centre site, which previously stood empty for 20 years. As the first of the new apartments go up, Orbit鈥檚 vision for St Anne鈥檚 Quarter will really start to come to life.鈥�
Danny Blakeston, managing director of ISG鈥檚 engineering services business, said: 鈥淭his latest win will build on a strong partnership with Orbit, transforming an underused site to deliver modern, high-quality mixed-tenure homes.鈥�
