Taking place in Oxfordshire the competition saw eight cross-discipline teams compete in five timed heats which required them to deal with hypothetical situations that could be faced on a current construction site 鈥 the North West Bicester Eco Town.

One of the challenges competitors faced was to design an Eco Pub incorporating a number of Saint-Gobain鈥檚 products. Products included Vario, Saint-Gobain Isover鈥檚 advanced air tightness and moisture management system; Glulam from engineered timber specialist Pasquill; SGG Planitherm One thermally efficient glazing from Saint-Gobain Glass and Thistle Durafinish, a hardwearing plaster from British Gypsum.聽
