The three-year contract by the Ministry of Infrastructure has an estimated value to Hill of approximately €6.95m (£6.1m).
The expanded motorway will have a total length of approximately 117km and will include the construction of four tunnels totalling some 5km. It the largest infrastructure project ever undertaken by the Kosovo government.
The Morinë-Merdare motorway is of strategic importance to Kosovo's economy and constitutes one of two main links to the regional transport network and neighbouring capital cities. It also acts as a primary artery running through Pristina, the capital of the Kosovo.
