The HB215LCs, which offer up to 40% reduction in fuel consumption, are the first hybrid machines in the Hawk fleet.

He said that the new dash-10 Komatsu machines can provide fuel savings of 拢2 to 拢3 per hour against earlier models while the hybrids save up to 拢5 an hour.
