Hanix has confirmed that it has chosen Steelwrist AB as its preferred supplier for the attachments that improve the manoeuvrability of buckets.
News of Hanix exacavators sporting Steelwrist tiltrotators was first revealed last month by Digger Blog.
The Steelwrist tiltrotator acts as a 鈥榳rist鈥� between the arm and bucket of the excavator, providing greater bucket manoeuvrability compared to excavators fitted with a fixed bucket or quick coupler. It enhances excavator efficiency by allowing operators to excavate, tilt, and rotate the bucket, or any other accessory, in one simultaneous operation. A tilt angle of 卤45 degrees can be achieved.
Tiltrotators were first introduced in Scandanavia in the 1980s, and now some 90% of 3t to 25t excavators in that region are now fitted with them. The attachment not only offers greater convenience but also can increase productivity by as much as 30%, it is claimed.
