This intermediate framework will be for projects valued in the range of 拢500,000 to 拢4m, although most are expected to be between 拢1.5m and 拢3m.
It is envisaged that 12 contractors will be selected.
Most of the jobs will be extensions, refurbishments and alterations to existing schools, but it could extend to any type of building work to any property, including fire, police and health service properties.
Pure civil engineering works, such as highways, bridges or coastal works, will not be included.
