One Park Square has 105,000 sq ft of prime Grade A office space over four storeys. A corporate tenant is being sought for it.
The building will be adjacent to phase two of Longbridge Town Centre, which is currently under construction. This phase includes the Midlands鈥� largest Marks & Spencer store and retail, restaurant and caf茅 space.
Mike Murray, senior development surveyor at St Modwen, said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e very pleased that Birmingham City Council鈥檚 planning committee has followed the local authority planning officers鈥� recommendations to grant planning permission for One Park Square. This prime office space will create hundreds of new jobs and attract more professionals to Longbridge, adding to the thriving mixed-community we鈥檙e creating here.鈥�
St. Modwen aims to deliver 2,000 new homes together with employment and retail facilities to support up to 10,000 jobs on the site of the former Longbridge car plant over the next 15 years.
