The Old Pueblo Trackworks joint venture will build the 6.4km electric light rail system in Tucson. The system will run through the city's main corridor.
Work involves new concrete streetcar guideways, 22 covered stops and the reconstruction of existing roads, including the modification and replacement of water systems and other associated utility improvements.
The project will serve more than 100,000 people who live and work along the corridor. Work is expected to be completed by summer 2013.
