Kubota UK has issued a 1st April press release suggesting that the American pop singer has splashed out on a special edition gold KX71-3 mini excavator.
The machine was produced to mark the sale of the company鈥檚 50,000th mini-excavator in the UK. Kubota says it is 鈥渢he world鈥檚 most expensive gold digger鈥�.
While not directly saying that Mr West has bought the machine, Kubota said that it is 鈥渞umoured to have been purchased by an acclaimed American music artist鈥�, adding that the Gold Digger was being prepared at Oxford airport 鈥渢o Touch the Sky for its Homecoming to Los Angeles鈥�.
On balance, therefore, we reckon it is indeed April First. After all, everyone knows Kanye鈥檚 a Cat, man.
