Willmott Dixon launched a standardised school desgin last year in partnership with Scape, using the brand of Sunesis, claiming to cut costs by up to 30%.
Warwickshire has now given the go-ahead to use a Sunesis school to create extra capacity at Oakfield Primary School in Rugby. They selected the Keynes model from the Sunesis catalogue at 拢2.2m, adding in optional extras of internal sliding wall, play equipment and tensile canopy alongside free furniture.
Willmott Dixon said that other councils had expressed an interest in using Sunesis, with a potential 拢100m of projects in the pipeline.聽
