Canadian environmental services group Englobe hopes that using a single name for its UK businesses will help them to grow.
Biogenie is the French subsidiary of Englobe that has been active in the UK since 2005. Englobe then acquired Celtic Technologies for 拢7m in 2008 to expand its UK presence.
The two UK-based firms will now be known as Englobe, combining their contaminated land, soil treatment, engineering and environmental services under the new name.
Julia Roberts, managing director of Englobe UK, said: 鈥淭he renaming of Celtic and Biogenie is the final piece of the jigsaw puzzle for Englobe as we continue to build upon our international experience and reputation in the UK after acquiring Celtic in 2008. Working under one name will enable Englobe to develop and grow by providing the full suite of engineering and environmental services to some of the UK鈥檚 most exciting developments.鈥
