Dowco, which is headquartered in British Columbia, specialises in preconstruction modelling and the provision of integrated steel, mass timber and rebar detailing on major projects throughout North America.
鈥淭hrough the acquisition of Dowco鈥檚 detailing and BIM services business, DeSimone can now more quickly deliver projects by bringing engineering and detailing into the design phase early,鈥� said Stephen DeSimone, chairman and CEO of DeSimone Consulting Engineering.
The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.

DeSimone Construction Engineering provides structural engineering, fa莽ade consulting and construction consulting services for all types of buildings. It has offices in the US, Canada, South America, Asia, the UK and the Middle East.
