An arbitration team is assessing revenue losses incurred on account of the seven months of closure, loss due to faulty civil structure work and delay in repairs.
鈥淲e have demanded compensation for losses on various accounts but the matter is pending for arbitration, so I will not comment further,鈥� he said.
The high-speed Delhi Metro track is currently operating at 50km per hour instead of its permissible speed of 120km per hour.
鈥淲ithin a couple of weeks we will seek consent from DMRC for running trains at 80km per hour,鈥� said a company spokeperson.
