The family-owned business has already bought 50 Cats over the past three years. The 27 machines now being added to the fleet include six Cat 730C2 articulated dump trucks (ADTs), 13 Cat 313F excavators, seven Cat 320 excavators and one Cat D6N dozer with Slope Assist.

Danaher & Walsh plant manager Lee Castledine said: 鈥淲e鈥檝e worked closely with Finning for just under a decade now and we鈥檝e seen our relationship grow significantly over the past three years. It鈥檚 been very important to us to work with such a reliable team at Finning, one that understands our business. We鈥檙e now in a position where we can offer a real diverse range of equipment to our customers.

鈥淚t was only 18 months ago that we purchased our first Cat ADT; now we have a fleet of 10. We鈥檙e also starting to expand into the dozer hire market, and felt the Cat D6N was the right machine for entry. One of the key factors that impacted our decision was the Slope Assist technology that comes as standard with the dozer. It鈥檚 time for us, and the sector, to embrace these technologies and we feel that this grants us differentiation within our new market.鈥
