After winning the new business, Howard Russell is targeting 拢25m turnover by 2018.

In Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, Howard Russell is undertaking a 拢5.5m project to build new headquarters for lifting equipment specialist GGR Group, the distributor of Unic mini cranes and vaccum lifting attachments.

Closer to home in Teesside, Howard Russell is developing a new 拢5.5m industrial property for Dutch heavy lifting specialist Mammoet on behalf of UK Land Estates.

The contractor is also on site in Gillingham where it is building a new 拢2.5m storage facility for Lok鈥檔Store, which is due for completion this summer. And at Cambridge Research Park it is developing nine speculative industrial units for property investment management firm Rockspring.

Craig Muldoon, technical & sales director at Howard Russell said: 鈥淲e have worked very hard to secure some tremendous contracts over the past two years, all of which have been won via competitive tenders. It has been a long and tough process, but we have gained the trust of a number of major developers, which has resulted in the opportunity to work on new projects outside of the region.鈥

He continued: 鈥淎s a firm we are very proud to have broken into new markets and to be involved in some fantastic new development schemes right across the UK.鈥

In the last six months the firm has completed a 50,000 sq ft manufacturing facility for tool manufacturer Guhring and 75,000 sq ft industrial unit at Poyle Central, near Heathrow, on behalf of Chancerygate.
