The contract is for radioactive waste authority Andra, which is setting up the future industrial geological storage centre in the Meuse/Haute-Marne region in the east of the country. The facility, known as Cigeo, is designed to provide long-term confinement for the waste and to ensure that the storage is reversible.
This contract will be executed by Technip鈥檚 centres in Lyon and Paris, and by Ing茅rop centers in Courbevoie and Clermont-Ferrand, France. The first conceptual study phase, to be conducted this year, will prepare the public consultation that will take place in 2013.
