A-Plant agreed a deal to buy Worksop-based portable roadway company Lion Trackhire from owners Carl Springthorpe and Dale Robinson. The price was not disclosed.
The CMA鈥檚 interest was aroused because A-Plant had already taken over Eve Trakway and its parent company Accession Group in 2013 for 拢28m.
However, in a statement today, the Competition & Markets Authority said that it had decided not to refer the merger to a Phase 2 investigation under the provisions of the Enterprise Act 2002.
