Both contracts are for the second phase of the extension of line D, serving the northwest of the city.
Colas Rail is leading a consortium that also includes Alstom, Colas Sud鈥怬uest and Fayat. The work, which has a total contract value of 鈧�34m (拢30m), involves the installation of track and an overhead catenary line on a 6.2km section. Colas Rail has a 鈧�15m share of the project and Colas Sud鈥怬uest鈥檚 share is 鈧�6m.
The second contract was won by Colas Sud鈥怬uest and involves fill, drainage and surface work for a contract value of 鈧�19m.
The work is slated to last 24 months, and the extension will be open to the public in October 2019.
Colas Rail and Colas Sud鈥怬uest have already helped build the first three lines of the Bordeaux Tramway network.
