Mr Gould, who has been with Groundofrce for 30 years, has been named chairman of BSI committee B/514/29, the UK representation on WG9 - the CEN (Comit茅 Europ茅en de Normalisation) working group for standardisation of trench lining and hydraulic shoring systems.
In this role, he will provide UK input for European and international standardisation documents.
