Brookfield Multiplex will construct Gulf Related鈥檚 2.3 million square foot mall on Al Maryah Island.
When completed in March 2018, the AU$1bn Al Maryah Central mall have international department stores Macy鈥檚 and Bloomingdale鈥檚, more than 400 other shops, 145 restaurants and caf茅s, and a 20-screen cinema complex. In addition Al Maryah Central will include a medical centre, a cr猫che, a health club, a public library and a food market as well as three rooftop parks. Subsequent phases will add residential units as well as a hotel in two high rise towers.

Al Maryah Central鈥檚 excavation and foundation construction work has just been completed and Brookfield Multiplex鈥檚 contract covers the remaining full construction of the mall, with vertical construction starting this month.
