The work for for ICF Habitat La Sabli猫re involves construction of three buildings containing 122 apartments in Ach猫res, northwest of Paris. Cogemex, a joint subsidiary of Bouygues B芒timent Ile-deFrance and Bouygues Energies & Services, will provide maintenance for four years. Works are scheduled for completion in the first half of 2017.
Unlike a public-private partnership (PPP), the project鈥檚 use of a DBOM model is based on public funding and so ICF Habitat La Sabli猫re is responsible for financing the operation.
The project is designed to meet a commitment to sustainable construction shared by Bouygues Construction and ICF Habitat La Sabli猫re. The maximum consumption of primary energy will not exceed 50 kWh/m虏/year and ICF Habitat La Sabli猫re will work with tenants to ensure that the target is met.
Herv茅 Fontaine, director of development at ICF Habitat La Sabli猫re, said: 鈥淩educing operating costs is a top priority for ICF Habitat La Sabli猫re, which is seeking to develop the environmental performance of its buildings. The DBOM contract will make it possible to meet these objectives thanks to its all-encompassing nature and the commitment shown by each partner.鈥
