The strategic project for the La Poste group鈥檚 real estate subsidiary, Poste Immo, involves a 32-month transformation of the building into a mixed-use development that will include postal activities, shops, apartments, public facilities and a hotel.聽
聽Poste Immo CEO Christian Cl茅ret said: 鈥淭his is a flagship operation among Poste Immo鈥檚 operations on the basis of reclassifying and developing the La Poste group鈥檚 assets, taking account of changes in uses, respecting the heritage and history of La Poste and constantly maintaining the highest environmental standards.鈥�
The project, which was designed by architect Dominique Perrault, is intended to open up the building to the city. One of the aims is to reveal the architectural heritage of the building, which was designed in the 19th century by the architect Julien Guadet.
