The figures were presented to the annual shareholder meeting, held this week at Durham County Cricket Club .

The acquisition of Border Construction, now rebranded Esh Border Construction, directly contributed 拢20m of the increase in turnover.

Group chief executive Brian Manning said: 鈥淭he significant geographical reach of our diverse range of construction and property businesses, supported by a strong financial base built up by shareholders over a number of years, has been key to Esh Group鈥檚 growth.鈥

Chairman Austin Donohoe stepped down from the board at the end of 2014. He had joined Esh Group as non-executive director in 2001 and had been non-executive chairman since 2004. Michael Hogan, a founder of the business, took over as chairman at the start of 2015.
