Developer and house-builder Berkeley Group has joined Build UK鈥檚 clients group; Carey Group becomes the 28th contractor member.
Build UK was formed in 2015 by a merger of the UK Contractors Group, representing most of the UK鈥檚 biggest contractors, and the National Specialist Contractors Council, a federation of trade associations representing various industry specialist trades.
Since its formation, Build UK has sought to widen its representation of the industry bringing on board and, , the Chartered Institute of Building, the first professional body to join.
Build UK chief executive Suzannah Nichol said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e delighted to welcome The Carey Group and Berkeley Group to the Build UK family. With a growing number of clients, contractors and specialist contractors joining Build UK, we can up the pace of change in the industry.鈥
