Berry Cranes, based in Towcester, Northamptonshire, has taken delivery of a new AK 36 and an AK 46 truck crane.
A further five machines are to be delivered over the next year or so. This includes orders for B枚cker鈥檚 latest models, the AK 42 and the AK 48, as well as two more AK 46/6000 and another AK 36/4000. 聽The German-made B枚cker truck cranes are mounted on commercial truck chassis and, unlike most telescopic cranes, have booms made from aluminium rather than steel, for extra lightness.
Berry Cranes founder and managing director Neil Berry said: 鈥淲hen we purchased the first Bocker crane in the UK in 2008, little were we to know just how well they would fit in. Some 15 years and 20 new machines later, it was very easy to decide where to place this order. The unique, diverse versatility of the Bocker cranes, coupled with their quality and backup has made this a very easy decision鈥
