The civil engineering contractor confirmed it had signed up at the Builders鈥� Conference AGM yesterday.
BAM Nuttall joins a growing list of major contractors using the online service including , , Osborne and Mitie Interiors.
The Builder鈥檚 Profile enables sub-contractors to submit the same pre-qualification information to different contractors without filling in bespoke questionnaires whilst contractors can access details of their supply chains instantly at the touch of a button 鈥� rather than waiting for paper questionnaires to be completed and returned.
The Builder鈥檚 Profile, supported by the National Specialist Contractors鈥� Council (NSCC) and The Builders鈥� Conference, offers the construction industry an online solution to the existing inefficiencies of the pre-qualification process for sub-contractors, consultants and suppliers.
A sub-contractor can create a basic Builder鈥檚 Profile free of charge, which can be sent to one main contractor, or upgrade to the premium version of the service and send their profile to as many main contractors as they wish, reducing the amount of time and money they spend on completing bespoke pre-qualification questionnaires.
Over the coming weeks, BAM Nuttall will be contacting its supply chain partners to explain what this means to them and how they can best use the service to help reduce their pre-qualification assessment burden.
