Balfour Kilpatrick was merged with Haden Young in 2009 to form Balfour Beatty Engineering Services (BBES).
The new Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick is 拢300m-revenue M&E contracting business with a direct workforce of 2,200 across the UK. Back in 2009, the old BBES had 3,500 employees.
Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick is led by managing director Simon Lafferty, reporting to Balfour Beatty鈥檚 UK Construction Services managing director, Dean Banks.

Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick鈥檚 capabilities span the nuclear, power, infrastructure, process and defence, transport, healthcare, education, residential and commercial sectors. It will offer additional capabilities through its in-house modular manufacturing facility, Modular Systems+, and its industrial mechanical pipe fabrication facility.
聽The company鈥檚 current contract portfolio includes works on the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers project, Urenco鈥檚 Tails Management Facility project, Crossrail鈥檚 Woolwich and Whitechapel stations, the Gatwick Airport Framework and three major projects within the Nuclear Decommissioning Agency鈥檚 Sellafield site. The company also has preferred bidder status for the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station main electrical package.
