Atkins will help PRPA engineers, planners, and operations staff plan, design, procure, and supervise infrastructure projects for the next five years.

The PRPA is the governmental agency that develops, operates, and oversees all seaports and airports in Puerto Rico. The PRPA fist selected Atkins鈥� Puerto Rico-based business unit, Atkins Caribe, as PRPA鈥檚 GEC in 1997; the company was then reselected multiple times to provide comprehensive airport planning, engineering, and construction services for both commercial and general aviation airports. Atkins has also completed numerous projects to help PRPA鈥檚 engineering bureau execute its capital improvement program (CIP) and develop maritime transportation facilities and airfields.
