Amey is the big winner in Network Rail’s £300m civils frameworks

20 Feb 14 Network Rail has awarded framework agreements to cover its programme of civil examinations and assessments for the next five years.

All the agreements are zero-sum with a workbank of 拢300m over the course of the next funding period - Control Period 5.

Amey has secured a second consecutive term as Network Rail鈥檚 sole supplier of civil examinations, and retained a major footprint in rail structures assessments.聽 Its new contracts are worth more than 拢40m a year.

The Civil Examination Framework Agreements (CEFA) for Control Period 5 (CP5) will be delivered by Amey across the UK, with the exception of the London North Western Route, which Network Rail plan to operate in-house.
