The order consists of six LTM 1060 3.1s and six LTM 1100 5.2 five axle cranes, with a combined value of over 拢6m.
Liebherr said that the requirement for cranes of this size reflects the continued growth and confidence in the UK market, particularly with the smaller cranes, where business continues to be brisk as the economy recovers.
The 3-axle 60t machine is an upgrade for the LTM 1055s that exist within the Ainscough fleet, with the larger LTM 1100 5.2 being used to enhance Ainscough鈥檚 portfolio of 5-axle cranes.
Liebherr sales in 2- and 3-axle category聽 continues to grow, with聽 particular interest in the 45t tonne Compact Crane featuring integrated variable outrigger technology.
