The consortium of companies has formed an alliance with Main Roads Western Australia to deliver the state鈥檚 largest road project, the Gateway WA, which has a construction value of US$1.05bn (拢673m).
As design partner, Aecom鈥檚 contribution is expected to generate revenue of more than US$10m. The alliance also includes design partners GHD and BG&E, and construction partners Leighton Contractors and Georgiou Group.

The project will upgrade the Tonkin and Leach highways, and will include the construction of five new interchanges to create landmark road infrastructure around Perth Airport as well as surrounding industrial and freight hubs.
Construction is scheduled to begin later this year and is expected to be completed by 2017, ahead of the planned consolidation of Perth Airport鈥檚 domestic and international terminals during 2018.
